Excellent accommodation and very helpful owner who could'nt have been nicer regarding delivery of oxygen. I would recommend this holiday to everyone. I wish we had booked two weeks not one.

Would recommend Frds Retreat, lovely bungalow. Very close to the village of Aylsham, plenty to do even if you dont want to take the car out... But please dont tell everyone because we want to go back soon...

Aylesham is well situated for visiting quite a large part of Norfolk. It has the Bure Valley Railway terminus in the town and the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall and Felrigg Hall are very close. Holkham Hall and the religious sites of Walsingham are only a short journey west. In other words, it is an ideal area for people interested in our heritage.

If you want a lovely relaxing holiday, with very clean accommodation try Freds Retreat, in the middle of a beautiful little town, in walking distance, and lots to do only a short drive away, you have got to try this one (but don't tell everyone) 'cause we want to go back next year...

Fred's Cottage is an ideal base for North East Norfolk, convenient for local attractions such as stately homes and magnificent gardens and the Broads as well as further away places such as Cromer, Sheringahm and Overstrand. We would return tomorrow given half the chance!

North Norfolk is a lovely part of the country, very quiet and peaceful with some beautiful beaches. Would thoroughly recommend it for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Ideal for a couple or small family, this property is ideally situated near the centre of the market town of Aylsham which meant we did not use our car much and were able to take many walks with our little dog who also enjoyed her stay.
